Who we are

iON Consulting websites refer to sites hosted on the ionconsulting.llc and other related domains and subdomains thereof. This privacy policy describes how iON Consulting uses and protects any information you give us. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you provide us with personal information through ionconsulting.llc, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Website visitors

Like most website operators, iON Consulting collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. iON Consulting’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how iON Consulting’s visitors use its website. From time to time, iON Consulting may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

iON Consulting also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. iON Consulting does not use IP addresses to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

Gathering of personally-identifying information

Certain visitors to iON Consulting choose to interact with iON Consulting in ways that require iON Consulting to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that iON Consulting gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.

When visitors leave comments on iON Consulting we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help prevent spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities, like receiving a follow-up based on contact information provided.

All of the information that is collected on iON Consulting will be handled in accordance with GDPR legislation.

Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using iON Consulting, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

iON Consulting will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, iON Consulting discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, if you give permission to have your information shared, or when iON Consulting believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of iON Consulting, third parties, or the public at large.
